"Good day comes with the bad. You can't have one without the other. That's just life"

Quarantine has been wild. I’ve picked up new hobbies, ditched old habits and really discovered a whole new side to myself that I wasn’t aware of. I think when you’re basically trapped inside your own home you’re kind of forced to do things differently. You have to find happiness in places that you don’t usually experience it. Which can be hard but also beautiful.

I’m working out a lot at home to maintain and gain muscle, I’ve done a bit of running and even bought a bike during quarantine. I was fortunate enough to be given a multi-gym, a cross trainer, and quite a few kettlebells and dumbbells. Which has helped me out so much, so I’m super grateful for that kind gesture.

As important as it is for me to keep my body busy, my mind needs to be just as active to ensure my mental health stays as high as possible. I’ve got into photography and photo editing recently and it’s been really enjoyable and I’d love to do it professionally or at least more seriously in the future.

I’ve always loved gaming so for me to continue doing that during quarantine was a no brainer. Playstation over Xbox for me. I know you were thinking about the question.

There can be bad days where I won’t fall asleep until early hours of the morning and then won’t get up until nearly noon. But I also have good days where I’m asleep by midnight and out the house by sunrise. I’d say it’s fairly even, but even on my bad days I just squeeze everything in and do as much as I can.

I’m also in the middle of a move, so I’ve been back and forth trying to get my new flat ready so I can move in properly when this is all over. Hopefully relatively soon because I’m a cat lover and once I’ve settled I’m getting two kittens. I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for anything in my life.

Good days come with the bad. You can’t have one without the other. That’s just life. It’s full of the highest highs and lowest lows and it’s just all about making the most of what you have, and that’s what I’m trying to do. I can’t wait to get back to my usual routine, give my family hugs and run around on the field with my football family, but for now we have to stay safe and look after the ones we love, even if that is from a distance.
